Hunter x Hunter, is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Togashi that narrates the journey of Gon Freecss who looks for his dad whilst following his dream to become a Hunter. Along the way, Gon encounters multiple people who play an important role in his journey to become a Hunter.

One of the characters Gon met on this journey was Netero, the 12th Chairmain of the Hunter Association and the Head of the Exam Commision, who is passionate about martial arts and pushing people to their physical limits.
